Hi Ben,

This past weekend I was fortunate enough to see Monty Python\'s Spamalot in Boston. You were a stand out as Dennis Galahad. Thank you for bringing such fun to a classic. I used to watch Monty Python in college (probably before you were even born!!) and it is wonderful to see all the witticisms come to life in such excellent talent!! Much thanks to you and superb luck in your future acting endeavors!

Hi Ben,

Not sure if you remember me but we had a class or two together at Butler.  I was just looking over the theatre "happenings" and saw you were playing Javert.  Could it be the same Ben Davis I went to school with?  Congrats on your success! It sounds like you've been kicking some butt with the movie too.  I can\'t wait to see it.  I'm really sorry to hear about the recent goings on with Les Miz.  Crazy.  Hope things are going well with you and just wanted to pop in and say hi.  Take care.

1st time seeing the revival of Les Mis 3rd time for the show....you were awesome! Hard to see a cast other than the original, but you stole the show--Marius & Cosette also very good. Congrats!

Mr. Davis,

I just saw you tonight in Les Miz. You were outstanding... your voice is out of this world.

You are also very dreamy.

Ben, just wanted to commend you on an outstanding performance. You and Ms. Salonga stole the show. The guy playing Valjean was good, but his rampant spitting was really distracting from the 6th row. I feared folks would need umbrellas :) But wanted to commend you...it\'s a shame Beauty and the Beast is closing, because I think you'd be excellent in it.

hey ben! i just saw les miz last night and it's my favorite show!!! it was absoutley amazing! it was incredible!!!!! you were astonishing! you have an amazing voice.great job! i hope to be on broadway one day! my favorite scene from les miz is when you were singing javert's suicide,i know thats kinda weird saying that his suicide was my favorite scene but it was just so cool how it looked like you fell into the water but you really didnt!!!!! when you "jumped" my mouth fell opened and i was at the edge of my seat! i whispered "wow!" it was fantastic! i now know why it's the worlds longest running musical! well done! :)

Despite being a regular Broadway devotee, I just saw (yesterday) Le Mis' after having been told for years, "you simply MUST!"

It is a "MUST!"  It moved me in all ways meaningful to human existence:  acts of kindness, parental devotion, young love, integrity, youthful revolutionary zeal and to solidify each there was that magnificent music rendered by an accomplished cast with hearfelt conviction and exuberance.

Among the numerous memorable performances, I found you exceptional, a presence on the stage I awaited with anxious anticipation. Your voice is richly resonant.  I heard all your words, which was not always the case with others.

Thank you for making my Broadway excursion (from Philadelphia) a  treasured memory I will re-visit often.

Ben,

Whoa!  Long time no see.  We studied together at BU and although life has sent me on another path (I'm now in corporate HR), it was a really wonderful surprise to see your name in the program when I took my parents to see the show this weekend.  You were taking the night off - a big bummer for us all - but thought I would reach out and say "hi" and most of all congratulations.  You're livin' it man!

I moved to the city recently (mostly to join my significant other :-).  You will have to let me know what you're up to in the future!  You can count on us to be in your NY bassed fan club.  I ran into Hanalise on Lex not to long ago and know that Mary is here too.  Also think I saw Tim Brimmer on the way to work today with a bunch of ICC kids.  Got a call from Matt Dolphin last week...  It is funny (not just funny, but seriously weird) how life's chapters return.  Never thought this chapter would be the one I'd encounter first here.  We should have a mini-reunion before 10 more years go by! Wishing much continued success!

-Julie

Ben,

Loved your site and your refreshing bio...I wanted to see the folks that my son (Also Ben) would be working with.  It's interesting that my Ben didn't start singing or acting until his junior year as well. Anyhow, break a leg!

Hi Ben, Congrats on all your success from one Butler actor to another. Long before I went to Butler for music I'd seen your name in the LM playbill, so I figured good things must be going on there. Left early like yourself I believe to get to the stage. So far its paying off. Cheers and all the best! Scott

Well Ben,(if I may call you that), your fame has now crossed the Atlantic Ocean to the U.K, care of your biggest fan, (your Aunt Karen), who told me recently via the Internet that you are planning a trip to our lovely country soon to appear in a film to be shot over here, and of course I wish you all success with that, and all future projects. Cool! I'm the first one to write a guestbook entry. Yay. First of all, let me just say, Christine, the site's gorgeous! It was well worth the wait. And now that I've complimented the site... hi Ben! *waves* You're sorely missed here in NYC. You were my honorary Jew what with two very Jewish-sounding names and all :-) And you're certainly not the only one who thinks La Boheme closed too soon...
